At API Equality – Northern California, we believe it is possible for our work to be driven and funded by our community, and we work for true community sustainability. In the past few years, so many people—volunteers and supporters—have contributed to our work by giving what they could, when they could, whether that was $10, $100, or $1000. In the process, the community has also weighed in on our projects and challenged us to think of new ways to go about our work.

This year, we are looking for 50 more people to help sustain our work by making a monthly commitment to LGBTQ API advocacy, leadership development, and community-building. These funds go a long way to help us preserve our histories, uncover our stories, and develop passionate leaders.
