Project Overview
Asian Americans for Civil Rights & Equality (AACRE) is seeking a short filmmaker to create a 5-7 minute feature documenting the 2024-25 Walking Stories Exhibition at Edge on the Square in San Francisco Chinatown.
The video should inspire, educate, and motivate our audience to understand and support our work. It may be showcased at a supporter event, on our website, and on our social media channels.

About Walking Stories
Walking Stories is a multimedia exhibition co-presented by AACRE and Edge on the Square. The exhibit features works from featured artists selected by Edge on the Square, and community artist-activists chosen by the grassroot social justice groups within the AACRE Network. Ranging from interactive installations, video, performance, photography, zines to conceptual potluck, the artists interrogate prevailing stories and their ramifications and prioritize stories that cultivate interconnectedness, empathy and invested involvement in the world around us.
